Statements for professional services are rendered to
clients monthly at standard hourly rates, unless otherwise agreed. Our fees
include overtime secretarial services, word processing and other overheads
except out-of-pocket expenses.
Out-of-pocket expenses are for the client's account and
are payable in advance unless it is agreed to bill monthly.
Value added tax is added to all statements.
All statements must be paid promptly and not later than
30 days after the end of the month concerned.
The firm is prepared to enter into retainer agreements
and other special arrangements appropriate to the work involved and to a
particular client's needs. One of this firm's standard retainer agreements
provides for a minimum monthly retainer plus reduced hourly rates.

Like other businesses, this firm has substantial cash
demands that require the firm to borrow money if its accounts are not paid
promptly. In the event that an account becomes delinquent, the firm employs
the same prudent collection procedures used by other businesses to ensure
that the majority of the firm's clients who do pay their bills promptly are
not penalized for the additional costs attributable to delinquent bills.
We retain the right to cease performing legal services,
and to terminate our representation of a client, for any reason consistent
with the applicable ethical rules, including unanticipated conflicts of
interest or delinquency or non-payment of legal fees and expenses incurred
on your behalf.
One of our goals is to ensure that legal services are
delivered effectively and efficiently and that all billings are accurate and
understandable. Please direct any questions about services or billing
practice to the lawyer responsible for your account.
